Stella is worth her weight in pony gold. A former show pony, Stella was donated to Simple Changes in 2017. Since then, she has changed innumerable lives. A steady horse under saddle in hippotherapy and therapeutic riding, she has carried riders who cannot sit up and cantered independent riders over cross-rails.
Now, Stella joins mental health professionals and coaches in guiding clients through counseling, leadership, and well-being sessions. She represents all that we do at Simple Changes – caring for body, mind, spirit and soul.

The Cost of Care
Each horse at Simple Changes costs over $8,000 per year to keep – covering essential grain, hay, farrier visits, and medical care. To care for Stella and her equine friends through the end of the year, we need to raise $16,000.
